{ costume of the day } rebel chic
for months now i've had these photos on my mind
(from uk harper's bazaar, november 2008)
i love the mash-up of lengths and textures, the combination of sequins + cableknit, the muted palette ~ the lady/tramp effect.
this ziggy stardust meets kurt cobain look still stuck in my head, i chose to channel my own inner street urchin for a dinner last night:
vintage angora jacket, vintage tunic-length shirt, agnes b. slipdress, h&m leggings,
kara ross earrings, turquoise stone & lanvin necklaces, h+m belt & beanie,
vintage clutch (my favorite souvenir from marfa)
