Fashion for everyone

A twinkly village in Switzerland called Gstaad, snow covered pine trees, gentle slopes to test and stretch the legs, naughty chocolates to indulge in and perhaps the occasional Schnapps....this feels like an adventure in paradise...

Having lived in Australia most of my life I grew up expecting to travel great distances to see change and I am still surprised, more than ten years later, that we can leave our home in St Remy and be somewhere completely different within hours. That's just what we did...We turned out the driveway headed on the autoroute towards Geneva and arrived in Switzerland; snow covered hillsides, chalet style homes, many contented looking cows and even a couple of resident deer...I feel like I am immersed within the pages of the children's book Heidi by Joanna Spyri. 

Only a few hours away but a whole new world to discover....that is the beauty of Europe...xv
