Thinking of Paris and BFF's...

By BFF's I mean 'Best French Fragrances' not 'Best Friends Forever' although I think I would be very happy to call Paris a BFF. There are many, many superb French fragrances and each one is special to those who wear them so my small list is simply those fragrances and perfume houses in Paris that do it for me. I have always adored scent - on me, on others, in the home and I could not imagine a life without perfume. Perfume is as essential as lipstick; a slick and a squirt and I am ready to go.

My BFF's for scent:
*Les Salons du Palais Royale Shiseido  Serge Lutens (Fleur d'Oranger and Lys are my picks)
142 Galerie de Valois - 24 Rue de Valois
Jardin du Palais Royale
75001 Paris

*Frederic Malle (Lys Mediterranee, Le Parfum de Therese and Vetiver for the boys)
Editions de Parfums
37 Rue de Grenelle
7005 Paris

*Annick Goutal (my longest French fragrance love; Gardenia Passion)
14 Rue de Castiglione
75001 Paris

My BFF's for scented candles:
*Cire Trudon (Odalisque and Spiritus Sancti)

*Diptyque (Figuer and Feu du Bois)

*Mathias (Muguet)

*Herve Gambs (Tuberose et Fleurs Blanche)

If you are in Paris and there is time and perfume is your thing please take a look; I promise you won't be disappointed, xv.
