Fashion for everyone

I am often on an airplane travelling back and forth and the one thing that drives me the most crazy is having too much to carry. So when the ipad is not the answer I have taken to reading the short novella...light as a feather and just enough words to amuse between take off and landing.

My latest read was Somerset Maugham's, Up at the Villa, a tale about a young widow and the relationships she forms with three different men. An easy page turner and that is all that's required when the head is in the literal clouds.

Do you like short stories? I was never a huge fan, always wanting stories to last forever, but these days I am a convert...more and more of Mr Maugham's words for me please...xv
