Hello, It's Me Again.

Yes, I know, I'm like a ghost blogger these days, I yet again apologize profusely.
I hope that everyone's holidays were/are splendid,
mine have been excellent, very busy and are still going...
I will be back in full force in the New Year, I promise. Please bear with me until then.
I'm planning a giveaway, a big shop update, lots and lots of pictures and an exciting review of Shoes Got Sole, which carries a myriad of shoes and boots, including Dingo and Aerosoles.
In short, I'm very excited for everything coming up soon!
Thanks again for checking out this blog, even though posting has been rather sketchy lately.

Happy New Year! See you in 2010 :)

Sunday Sweetness.

Camille Bidault Waddington styles an amazing shoot for Elle US.
After flipping through this editorial, saturated and pastel print mixing
seemed like the perfect mantra for Spring.

It's A Hothouse.

I think the fact that this editorial (June 2008/US Elle) contains lethal amounts of pink is one of the reasons it's one of my favourites, ever. I can't explain it, but I feel an intangible pull to the protagonist, who seems to suffering from wanderlust in some very lovely dresses. Sigh. This is what spring should be!

Maybe In Magazines, But You'll Still Be My Star.

I'm not sure I'm in love with this whole collection, I've got a major problem with the flatform shoes....That being said, Samantha Pleet's latest offering has several pieces that I'm admiring.

I Want It All.

Reminding me that I still need to find an military coat, this is precisely what I had in mind for cold weather dressing this year, plus a cozy scarf of course.

These Streets Have Too Many Names For Me.

A lot of these are photos from the SS10 shows (didn't get around to posting them back in September, embarrassing, I know!) but I figured that soon enough (fingers crossed) it will be warm enough for bare legs again! There have been some super inspiring street style blogs popping up, so many I'm losing track. Feast your eyes on this selection, and expect posts like this in the coming weeks (FASHION WEEK(s)!).

I've Missed My Train.

The September issue of Elle was surprisingly chock full of inspiring editorials,
perhaps they're going in a new direction?

Garance

It is always interesting to be able to sneak a peek inside a stylish girls closet...even better if that someone is the talented Garance Doré. Garance allowed Elle & the Coveteur to come into her Manhattan apartment and photograph some of her favorite pieces. I just love the red pieces, stunning ... isn't that a cool photograph of Garance and Scott at the top.
