one of the great rewards of starting this site has been the like-minded friends i have since made. cherised among these are the beckerman sisters. when first i wrote about them, i had only admired their style from afar ~ the way they could go from flea marketing with agyness deyn to lounging poolside and sleeping in chanel shoes with such nonchalant panache. when finally we met, i learned to like them even more, for being the sweetest, most fun-loving and unpretentious girls on earth. i love when that happens!

recently, i was thrilled to receive a surprise prezzie from my beloved blond beckerman buddies. it contained this rad double-plaid dinner jacket...

...and a supercool handmade card! i love their whimsical rendition of me ~ butterfly sunnies and all~ on the card's cover. in tribute to their lively blog photos, i had to do a happy dance. thanks ladies!
