providing a quick addendum to my last post, elle.com updated their blog with this photo of me and my newfound partner-in-crime, krystal, of the awesome site what is reality anyway:

turns out it's true what they say ~ blondes do have more fun!

yesterday involved running around town in too-tall shoes, doing fun fashiony events with coach and super-cool girls like emily, lulu, and krystal, consuming only cupcakes and champagne, girl-crushing on gwen stefani at L.A.M.B., and roaming the halls of barney's for fashion's night out.

i mentioned in my last post that i got to have lunch today with jessica, the superblogger behind what i wore. unsurprisingly, she's just like her blog ~ openhearted, witty, very personable, totally charming, and incredibly stylish!

naturally, we had to document the date!

there was copious coffee consumption (she: cream and sugar / me: black, with frequent refills)

lots of deep-fried goodies (she: cheeseburger / me: crab cake)

then i took her to my top-secret location of the day, where we vogued and posed!

one of the great rewards of starting this site has been the like-minded friends i have since made. cherised among these are the beckerman sisters. when first i wrote about them, i had only admired their style from afar ~ the way they could go from flea marketing with agyness deyn to lounging poolside and sleeping in chanel shoes with such nonchalant panache. when finally we met, i learned to like them even more, for being the sweetest, most fun-loving and unpretentious girls on earth. i love when that happens!

recently, i was thrilled to receive a surprise prezzie from my beloved blond beckerman buddies. it contained this rad double-plaid dinner jacket...

...and a supercool handmade card! i love their whimsical rendition of me ~ butterfly sunnies and all~ on the card's cover. in tribute to their lively blog photos, i had to do a happy dance. thanks ladies!

the morning after the sprouse/vuitton party, i ran into eddie from stylesightings, a blog i read daily for his combination of beautiful streetstyle portraits + always witty headlines!

we made a few photos together, and i'm very honored that he's featured them today in the last glamourai! thanks eddie!!!
