1. describe your personal style
layered, textured, evolving.
2. what are the staples in your wardrobe?
sequins, prints, metallics, lots of chunky jewelry. oh, and i never leave home without safety pins...
3. what's your signature look?
all of #2, typically worn together at once.
4. who is your fashion muse?
my wardrobe is bursting with inspiration from a gaggle of glamour gals, but the marchesa casati and iris apfel are always at the front of the rack.
5. favorite purchase of all time?
usually the most recent! right now i'm excited to wear a brand new mustard silk elizabeth + james blouse...
6. biggest splurge?
hmm... that's tricky, seeing as i NEED everything i buy, and who could consider simply acquiring life's basic necessities to be an indulgence?
7. what's your beauty routine?
for atmosphere: spritz multiple perfumes into hair (chanel homme, guerlain mandarine-basilie,
and karl lagerfeld's kapsule collection are favorites).
for body: is it too awful to admit that english leather
is my favorite product ever? who knew that a deodorant could make you feel, um, sexy?
to make face: armani luminous silk foundation, mac
studio fix powder, bobbi brown blush, nars eyeshadow, drugstore mascara. for night, add big fake lashes, repeat.

an obscenely large cocktail ring, carved from a single chunk of malachite, set with 18k gold and diamonds. i'll take two, please.
10. what are your obsessions?
the quest for the perfect blue nail polish, dynasty, kimonos, lucite jewelry, sleeping late, making things look better.
