{ corvus noir } the final five
thank you to everyone who sent in photos for the corvus noir competition! i must have the coolest readers in the internet; it was such fun to see all your original interpretations of the wonderland theme!!! i wish every one of you could win, but there were simply too many artistic applicants.
however, everyone who sent me a photo received a secret code ~ and that code is now good for 15% off any purchase at corvusnoir.com or from their booth at artists+fleas until december 25th!
of course, there must ultimately be only one winner for our pretty pocketwatch.
so now, allow me to present our five fantastic finalists:
contestant #1: natasha dressed as a disco-glam 80's alice. i adore the entire ensemble, especially those pleated sleeves ~ they made me grin as big as a cheshire cat!
contestant #2: cris's precocious portrayal of tweedledum & tweedledee made me do a double take, and i love the little ribbon round her neck(s?). she must know i'm a sucker for black bows!
contestant #3: liz handmade this fanciful frock coat! the back is embroidered to read: "no no! adventures first, explanations take such a long time." i'm delighted that she's already halfway down the rabbit hole in this imaginative image.
contestant #4: james gets big bonus points for being the only glamour guy to compete ~ and for knocking it out of the park with his mad hatter makeup! this mister's got all the dandy details down.
contestant #5: amanda's in with an outfit that would work just about anywhere, but who's essence is entirely alice. plus, her superbly shrunken set is absolutely sublime!
