vintage berlin...

Sometimes things just work out.

Like this...I am in Berlin and so is Toma Clark Haines...otherwise known as the Antiques Diva. After a couple of tweets (see tweeting can be very purposeful) we both established that we were in the same city at the same time....not something that is easy to co-ordinate for either of us. Toma, the most gorgeous bubbly girl that you could hope to meet, offered to scoop me up and show me her 'vintage' Berlin. Great girl company, vintage finds and a new city to discover...this was my idea of heaven....

The afternoon was perfect...the temptations off the charts - it was only the thought of the carry on baggage allowance that gave me any semblance of self control.

Where to shop... one long fabulous street called Suarezstrasse, in the Charlottenburg area
Favourite vintage... Antik-Center, numbers 48 and 49
Who with...Toma...she knows all the shops and all the dealers

My trip to Berlin has been full of unexpected pleasures. I have been introduced to a side of the city that I would never have found for myself...thank you Toma....I loved our day, xv.

(For those who asked, my new camera is an Olympus E-P2. I am a long way from getting the hang of it..but fun trying...)
