holly golightly has pretty well documented on this blog. her bouyant spirit has inspired so many of
my bijoux... thus, you may imagine my delight when a friend surprised me last thursday night with a sunset sailboat cruise around new york city ~ in a watercraft named
golightly!
so began a whirlwind weekend of travel and adventure.

early friday morning, my guy and i flew to california for a mini-roadtrip blitz. the journey began in LA, followed by a quick stop-off at the glamtastic hearst castle (it's the second largest private home in the united states ~ a landmark of luxe):
next we continued along the coastline to beautiful big sur...

...and are now settled in san francisco for one last day of west coast wandering!
