good day glamour guys and gals! it's been a while, no?

oh i've missed you so!!!!

life was temporarily tumultuous up on mount glamouramous, but i'm back with new hair, new jewels, heaps of newly cropped tops, and a double dose of glitter, coming to you on twitter!!!

my summer search for seasonary-improvery, which began with a new haircut and color, culminated yesterday when i hauled out my sewing machine, snipped the tips off a few pairs of harem pants (a la marni resort 2010), and hacked the hems from 6 more shirts! five of these i finished beautifully, but i decided to keep the raw edge on this single scrimmy blouse ~ it felt right to let it be bedraggled.

obviously, i'm loving the combination of short shirts and high-waisted skirts for this summer's silhouette, but i'd like to mix in a similar set of high-top shorts for good measure. any suggestions for who makes the best pair?

i have good reason to trust my readers' advice ~ thank you for delivering such brilliant suggestions in my jade polish hunt! as you can see, my nails are bare now, but i'm off for a manicure this afternoon, hoping to return tomorrow with gooey green tips!

until then, i'm stacking my quirky chrysanthemum and my titan tumbleweed ring on top of each other... i figure, with that much bling, who's gonna notice my nails' lack of polish?!?
