Worn!

I was over the moon when a very lovely Canadian magazine, Worn Journal, emailed me to do a little feature. Always full of inspiring content and lovely, stylish real girls, Worn is always a treat.

Check out my crush here!

Teenage Dream.

When I got an email a couple of months ago from Seventeen, it was all I could do to keep my lips sealed. If you flip to page 54 of the April issue, you will see a big ol' picture of yours truly! I still can't believe that the girl who used to obsessively flip through the pages of every issue of Seventeen is now in the magazine. This might seem really cheesy to you guys, but I did a big freak out dance in the bookstore when I saw that the issue was out! Thanks again for the feature Seventeen!

Speaking of teens, I may as well come out as a Gleek. I don't usually gush about the show on here, but honestly, this week's episode was ah-may-ZING. GAH! Let's just say I laughed, I cried, I squealed! This is my new theme song.

Heart.

Found some e-love in the form of a mention over at Tongue in Chic.
Thanks for the shout out!

ModLife!

I was lucky enough to be featured on the Modcloth blog yesterday!
Check it out here!

P.S. Sorry that my posting is sparse.
I am working on some shop updates, hopefully I'll have them up by next week.
I also have many a NYC post, and lots of outfit posts to update you all on!
Thanks so much to new readers and the old for reading my blog, I appreciate all of you!

Pop Up!

I think by now everyone knows that Hannah Metz is a big girl crush of mine! I wish I was in L.A. in February when The Loved One had a pop-up shop. Vintage wares, gin, flowers, pretty undies, and a dreamy girl on a swing?!? Looks like a dreamland to me!

photos: the loved one pop up, space 15twenty.

In other news: Flipping through the latest issue of N.E.E.T. I was surprised to see my photo in the Global Fashion feature on page 224! Thanks for the feature :) Read the issue here...

Also, I now have a tumblr and twitter! There are lots of images I see around the internet that I really love, but I don't want to drown this blog in overposting. Hence me caving and finally getting a tumblr! I'm still a little new to both sites, so forgive any faux pas please...

It's Better To Bask In Each Other.

I first spotted this Gap Skirt way back in October. At the time it was full price and wayyyyy out of my budget, but I couldn't help but be smitten with the color and detailing. I had forgotten all about it, then Erin posted an adorable outfit with said skirt. Imagine my surprise when I wandered to the Gap and found it, in my size, on sale for $15! I have to keep from wearing it constantly....

In other news, I love love love these over the knee socks from H&M. Finally found a pair that's actually over the knee, yippee!

Also, Visual Basic featured me on her blog, and did some super cute sketches of yours truly! It is pretty much the coolest thing ever, thanks again Visual Basic!

Thrifted mini hat, blazer.
Gap pleated skirt.
Gift from Kate blouse.
H&M knee high socks.
Dollar Store sheer tights.
Aldo leather heels.

They Put Me In A Magazine...

Liberating Style Magazine was nice enough to feature yours truly in this month's issue!
I was surprised when they contacted me, and I'm honoured to be one of their "Style Crushes" :D

You can see the magazine online here!

Two Of Us.

It never ceases to amaze me how, even though we live and work together, I always have the best times with Kate. A day spent button shopping and mall hopping proved to be filled with hilarity and silly poses. At the risk of being a total sap, I feel blessed to have such a lovely lady to call my bestie!

Thanks to Cierra who posted an interview with yours truly today. Hop on over to her blog to check it out!

Thrifted skirt, fabric (tied as turban headwrap), tee, blazer, boots.
Hue striped sheer tights.

Style is Style & The Clotheshorse!

The amazingly chic (and incredibly nice) Clothes Horse asked me about my ultimate party...
You can check out my answers here.

When we met in NYC, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that she was just as sweet as one would gather from reading her blog!
I hope to keep in touch with this lovely lady.
Thanks again for the lovely feature, Rebecca!

Featured?!?!

I got an email today that I'm on the ModCloth blog today as a style inspiration!
Thanks so much ModCloth :D

You can check it out here!

CaliVintage.

I've probably said this a million times, but Erin is honest-to-goodness one of my very favourite bloggers! She is the cool big sister I never had, but am very glad to have discovered.
She posted a very lovely post about this little blog on her blog today, check it out here!

When It Rains, It Pours.

It feels like every day I am telling you guys about another feature...
I hope you're not sick of it yet, I know it's still exciting to me!
This time I'm on the ModCloth blog!
The sweetest part is I would most definitely wear all the items picked to "recreate" my look.
Especially that skirt!
Thanks again to ModCloth for contacting me :)

Feature Time!

Another lovely feature over at Fashionably Black!
Thanks again for the interview :)

Something N.E.E.T.

GAH!!! One of my favourite, favourite online publications featured me on their blog today!
I am beyond estatic since N.E.E.T. always features the sweetest vintage sellers, and girls with impossibly cool style. I'm inspired by every issue, so thanks again!
Go here to check it out!!!

Street Seen!

Another random feature :)
I know I must be boring you all, but it seems like they keep happening at the same time.
I was out on Granville Street last night when Style Quotient approached me to take a street style photo for his blog. I wear this dress often, but for some reason I barely post outfit pictures in it...

Check out the post here!

PS. Keep your eyes peeled early next week for real outfit posts ;)

A Quick Hello!

I still have no internet at my new house!
I'm currently typing this from the nearest Starbucks (yay for free wi-fi).
Normal updates should resume within the week...

MTV's style blog featured me on their blogger looks of the week, check it out here!
Thanks so much for the shout out :)

Back To The Books.

It's been a long time since I've posted an editorial on here. This is one of my recent favourites, I found it thanks to tumblr! I throughly enjoy the playfulness of the whole shoot, and the prim collars, high socks and school girl dresses seem perfect for this time of year (or anytime, really).

A quick thanks to Iris+Daniel who featured me in an EIU post over at Chictopia! If you want to know "how" I shop, check it out...

Gisele Bundchen by Emma Summerton in ‘Life without You is Like a Broken Pencil… Pointless’, i-D Pre-Fall 2011.

What?!?!?

Chictopia was featured on the Today Show yesterday morning, which is pretty cool.
Especially because my picture was on!!! For a good 20 seconds! It's at 3:18...if anyone is wondering.
So weird, my face has graced American television!

Thank you Kristine of Eli Presentacion for alerting me about the feature,
and sending me screen captures!

Heyo.

I'm still around! August and July have been very, very busy! Two jobs plus friends, boyfriends, family and several trips means that I'm a horrible blogger. But it's ok, when Fall rolls around I'll be a regular blogger again. In the meantime...check out this chictopia feature starring cute little ankle socks (one of my favourite ways to bring a pop of color to an outfit). Imagine my surprise when I saw myself as one of the featured chictopians! See it all here.

Living In A Mad House.

With my impending move, life has kind of turned into a whirlwind.
Here's a little summer inspiration via Mr. Newton.
Doesn't she look impeccable?
I'm still waiting to find my perfect vintage white lace up boots!

Also, Style Is Style is in a lovely feature over at Coco and Creme.
Thanks so much for including me!
